Long time back, in the ’90s, Jack Nicklaus-the architect of a hundred Golf Courses in the world- was visiting the area of the present Golf Course between Olgiate and Solbiate Olona. With a flat area of approximately 173 acres meant for a Golf Course, his only decision was: dig-dig-dig!

As a result the motor scrapers removed as many as 2 million cubic metres ground and gravel to produce the present masterpiece of depressions, amphitheatres, terraced bunkers and lakes-unmistakably designed by the “Gold Bear”- as the Swedish champion was referred to. Over-careful by nature he revised and modified many of the 18 holes until he reached this amazing result. A demanding yet not “impossible” course, with five tees for each hole, suitable for all golfers, beginners and professionals.

A masterpiece, rated among the best golf courses in Europe.
